How to Use Brook on PC for Free Internet

Similar to other types of VPN, Brook functions to access websites securely and privately by changing the connection path through the server and hiding the data exchange that occurs.

How to Use Brook on PC for Free Internet

The following are some of the steps that you can follow and apply to use Brook Server on Windows Computers.

1. Download the Brook Windows App

Download the Brook application, you can download it via the following link.

  • https://github.com/txthinking/brook/releases (Copy link to Browser)

Download and install to completion and proceed to the next step.

2. Create a Free Brook Account

To create a Brook VPN account, you can visit the Howdy.id site and select the Bypass & Tunnels menu.

Select Brook.

Check im not a robot and SHOW SERVER.

Wait a few seconds then Brook’s account will appear. Pay attention to Brook’s Port and Protocol because different ports have different protocols. Use it as needed, you can also test all protocols.

Create a Brook Account is complete now proceed to the next step.

3. Brook Settings and Connect on Windows PC

Above you have downloaded the Brook application for windows and have created a Brook account on the Howdy.id site. Now setup and enter Brook account to Brook App.

Open the Brook application that you downloaded above by right-clicking run as admin.

Then select or click the + sign or you can also click the three line sign.

or Click Add Server.

Enter SNI + Host Brook + Port. The format is SNI.hostserver:Port

Example: s.youtube.com.tunnel.bonds.id:443 (You can change port 443 with another protocol port according to Howdy.id Web). Then enter the Password and click Add.

Brook’s account has been saved, now you set the proxy again by clicking the three lines again as shown below:

Select Proxy & Tun.

Select Tun.

Return to the Home menu on the Brook application then click Connect.

Wait a few seconds, usually it takes a while to connect.

Brook on the PC is properly connected.

To make sure again whether it is connected correctly, you can open the MyIP.id site to check your IP address.
